Women's hockey team loses in semi-final
(Barrie, ON) In their final tournament of the season, the Sharks women's hockey team finished round-robin play undefeated, earning a bye to the semifinal in Barrie on March 9.
St. Lawrence beat the host Georgian - Barrie Grizzlies 1-0 in their opening game of the Women's Extramural Super Cup, and followed that up with a 4-2 victory over the Fleming Knights, securing their spot in the semifinals and avoiding a quarterfinal match-up.
The Sharks were beaten in their semifinal game against Laurier-Brantford, just missing out on the final and the chance to win their second-straight gold medal.
