Quarterfinals
The Schooners advanced to the Super Cup semifinal, squeaking out a dramatic shootout win over the Fleming Knights in a game that saw a little bit of everything.

St. Lawrence got off to a hot start, as Merry scored 30 seconds into the game. He notched his second of the game, and fifth of the tournament, with a shorthanded goal that put the Schooners up 2-0. A diving defensive play that tripped up a Knights player on a breakaway gave Fleming a chance to get back into the game before the end of the first period, and they capitalized on the ensuing penalty shot.

The teams traded goals in the second period, with SLC going up 3-1 thanks to a goal by Wood, but then taking back-to-back penalties. They were unable to kill off the five-on-three, and the Knights once again pulled within one. In the third, the Fleming goalie made some incredible saves to keep the Knights in the game, and they tied the it up 3-3 with less than two minutes remaining, sending the game to a shootout.

Merry was the only player from either team to score in the shootout, winning the game for the Schooners. Caiccostopped all three shooters that he faced. St. Lawrence will face Georgian - Barrie in the semifinals.

Semifinals
In a gritty battle against the host Georgian - Barrie team for a spot in the finals, the Schooners came up just short, losing 3-2. SLC fell behind in the first period 2-0 and struggled to get puck possession throughout the first frame. After 10 minutes, it looked as though the Grizzlies were in full control of the game but the Schooners battled their way back into it. A goal in the second period and another in the third tied the game 2-2. Unfortunately, late in the third, the Grizzlies snapped home what would be the winning goal. St. Lawrence threw everything they could at Georgian with their goalie pulled, but couldn't put the puck in to tie it up again.
